I have spent most of 2016 working on a new adaptation of Jill Murphy’s book “The Worst Witch” for BBC and Netflix.
Everything was designed and created for the show. I didn’t want it to look like we had been shopping at Marks and Spencer, from Miss Cackle’s jumpers to the school shirts, everything has been handcrafted by myself and my team.
I wanted to stay true to the books, but as we were creating from scratch it was a great opportunity to push it a little. Check out the new collar design on the school shirts and the web design on the inside of the school coloured capes and having the school, badge made from metal added a touch of class.
